THE $1.5 MILLION CADILLAC THAT WEIGHS 20,000 POUNDS
It looks like a stretched Cadillac CT6, but Business Insider reports the chassis underneath is a heavy-duty Chevrolet Kodiak truck.

🚨 A $1.5 million Cadillac that weighs 20,000 pounds and needs a military cargo plane to leave the country.
Business Insider took a look inside "The Beast," the presidential limousine that debuted in 2018 after the Secret Service commissioned it in 2014.
The reported build cost is around $1.5 million. What that buys, according to reporting cited by Business Insider: armor around 8 inches thick, windows believed to be 3 inches thick, a night-vision system, tear-gas firing capability, and door handles that can be electrified.
NBC News reported the car's secure communications system can dispatch nuclear launch codes.
Inside, there is a fridge stocked with the president's blood type, plush leather seats, and water bottle holders. Earlier presidential limousines included a fold-out desk, per the Secret Service.
The body is designed to look like a stretched Cadillac CT6. The chassis is actually that of a heavy-duty Chevrolet Kodiak truck.
It does not fly commercial. Air Force C-17s haul it overseas.
The car has had a busy year. Trump and Putin rode in it together in Alaska on August 15, 2025, a private conversation that lasted fewer than 10 minutes. Trump and the first lady then took a ceremonial lap in it on a 1.7-mile street course through downtown Washington for the Freedom 250 Grand Prix.
Presidents rode Lincolns for most of the 20th century until the Reagan administration switched to Cadillacs in the 1980s.
📉 What's the one feature on that list you'd actually want in your own car?
