GULF OIL EXPORTS BACK ABOVE 60% OF PRE-WAR LEVELS
Goldman Sachs calls it an estimate for a reason. The bank says war has choked off information from the region, so the true flow is being inferred rather than measured.

🔴 More than 60%. That is where Goldman Sachs estimates Gulf oil exports now sit compared with the level before the Iran war.
CNBC reports the bank's estimate shows flows recovering out of the region.
But Goldman attached a warning to its own number. Information coming out of the Gulf is limited because of the war. That makes it difficult to work out how much oil is actually moving.
So the recovery figure is an inference, not a count.
That matters for anyone watching crude. Gulf supply is one of the biggest inputs into the global oil price, and traders are currently pricing a flow that cannot be fully observed. When visibility returns, the number moves — in either direction.
Goldman gave no further breakdown in the report.
