MARIA BARTIROMO IS OUT AT FOX AFTER 12½ YEARS

🚨 Maria Bartiromo is out at Fox after 12½ years, and the network did not say why.

CNBC reports Fox News Media announced the separation Thursday, hours after the final episode of "Mornings with Maria" aired on Fox Business Network.

The statement was eight words of gratitude: thanks for the work, best wishes for the next chapter. No reason given. No immediate reaction from Bartiromo, whose X account still carried a banner inviting viewers to join her every morning.

The programming reshuffle tells its own story. "Mornings with Maria" becomes "Mornings with Fox Business." "Maria Bartiromo's Wall Street" becomes "FBN's Wall Street." Both will use rotating anchors rather than a named successor. Her Fox News show "Sunday Morning Futures" goes to Jason Chaffetz for the time being.

That is three franchises rebuilt at once, two of them stripped of the name they were built on.

She joins a list of high-profile Fox departures in recent years that includes Tucker Carlson and Bill O'Reilly. Pete Hegseth left the network in 2024.

CNBC notes that a 2025 lawsuit against Fox News by voting technology company Smartmatic alleged Bartiromo spread false claims about election fraud on air, a characterisation she has firmly rejected. An earlier case brought by Dominion Voting Systems was settled in 2023.

Before Fox, she spent 20 years at CNBC, where she pioneered daily live reporting from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange and won an Emmy for a documentary about Google.
