ALL3MEDIA INTERNATIONAL'S NEW YORK OFFICE IS CLOSING
Every role in the New York branch has been made redundant, folding Americas sales into the merged $8B Banijay Entertainment rather than running a separate US operation.

🔴 All3Media International's entire New York office is being closed, and every role in it made redundant.
Deadline reports that Banijay is shutting the distributor's US base following the mega-merger that created the $8B group known as Banijay Entertainment, the company behind The Traitors, Big Brother and Peaky Blinders.
The number of exits is in the single digits, per Deadline. The most senior is Jennifer Askin, EVP Americas, who joined All3Media from Kew Media Distribution in 2021 and was promoted to the EVP role only a year ago after Sally Habbershaw's departure in August 2025.
Askin told colleagues the New York branch would close on Friday, August 28, and that all the roles located there had been made redundant. "Our team is grateful for such a run," she wrote, thanking clients across the Americas.
The catalogue she was selling is not small. All3Media International distributes Fleabag, Race Across The World, Ocean with David Attenborough, The Circle and The Traitors. Askin's deals include this week's sale of Gemma Arterton drama Secret Service to MGM+, Gone and Trigger Point to BritBox, Midsomer Murders and Brokenwood Mysteries to Acorn TV, and Race Across the World to PBS.
Banijay Deputy CEO Jane Turton called her "a much-admired leader" and thanked her for a "significant contribution."
Mergers promise scale. The bill usually arrives as duplicate offices.
Should a distributor selling this much US content keep a New York office?
