$4M FUEL BILL GOES UNPAID, GAS CHAIN SUED

🚨 Nearly $4 million for 1.1 million gallons of fuel, and the supplier says the invoice was never paid.

The Times of India reports that a fuel supplier has filed suit against KRSM, the operator behind the Freedom Fuel chain backed by Donald Trump.

The allegation is simple and expensive. The fuel was delivered. The bill, just under $4 million, was not settled.

1.1 million gallons is not a rounding error on a forecourt. Fuel distribution runs on credit terms, which means a supplier ships first and collects later. When collection fails at that volume, the supplier is effectively financing the pumps.

Worth being precise about what this is. It is a claim in a lawsuit, not a finding. KRSM has not been found liable and the allegation has not been tested in court.

What it does put on the record is the size of the gap a single operator can run up with one supplier before the paperwork lands in a courtroom.
